1. Cảm nhận của bạn về lớp học tại CG?
Tuy mới học được 3 ngày nhưng mình cảm thấy lớp học, giáo viên và các học viên người nước ngoài rất hòa đồng, nhiệt tình. Giáo viên biết học viên đã có gì và còn thiếu những gì để chọn phương pháp dạy phù hợp nhất cho mỗi người thông qua bài kiểm tra đầu vào. Trong lớp học 1:1 mình được luyện ngữ pháp, kỹ năng đọc, phát âm và nói. Lớp 1:4 hay vì được giao tiếp hoàn toàn bằng tiếng Anh về những chủ đề xung quanh cuộc sống, xã hội; tạo cơ hội cho học viên nói được nhiều hơn, giải thích và chỉnh sửa cách giao tiếp trong văn nói. Giáo viên nói rõ ràng làm cho người mới bắt đầu thấy dễ nghe và dễ hiểu. Mình cảm thấy lựa chọn học ở CG là một lựa chọn tốt.
2. Cuộc sống ngoài lớp học của bạn tại CG?
Ngày mới bắt đầu bằng một bữa sáng lúc 7 giờ, thời gian đó mọi người có thể nói chuyện với nhau bằng tiếng Anh cùng với các bạn đến từ nhiều nơi như Hàn Quốc, Đài Loan, Nhật và Việt Nam. Chúng tôi kể cho nhau nghe về đất nước của mình, giới thiệu cho họ biết về nền văn hóa của quốc gia mà tôi đang sinh sống. Cuộc sống tại CG yên tĩnh và bình lặng. Mỗi tiết học được bắt đầu và kết thúc bằng một hồi chuông. Giáo viên người Philippines luôn nở nụ cười với tất cả mọi học viên. Giờ học buổi sáng kết húc lúc 12:05, bữa trưa sau đó là lúc để tôi thực hành những gì đã học trên lớp. Sau khi ăn trưa chúng tôi có chút thời gian ngồi với nhau trước khi bắt đầu một tiết học mới vào lúc 1:05 và kết thúc lúc 4:20 chiều. Sau thời gian này chúng tôi có thể thoải mái hoạt động và trong trường có hồ bơi có thể sử dụng. Sống ở đây tôi thấy yên tĩnh và có khuôn khổ đúng giờ từ học, ăn, ngủ. Nếu đến đây để học và rèn luyện cách sống thì có lẽ mọi người nên đến để sống và cảm nhận.
3. Tell me an activity you have experienced in Cebu, island hopping Tour in Olango for example?
The CG weekend organizes us a hopping tour out to the Olango Island. From the CG to the boat station about 40 minutes ride. At the dock we waited about 30 minutes to get to the boat. Before we got to the boat we had some pictures taken. It felt great when the boat started running, wind, sunshine and fresh air. It was great to go to a nice place and nice people. About 20 minute ago where we will be watching the beautiful coral reef fish and blue water can see the bottom of the coral. I think this is beautiful place with people who are conscious of preserving the clean sea environment. We have lunch at the Olango Island with Korean Taiwanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese friends. Especially the hospitable Filipinos and the band sing very nice and funny. Delicous dishes such as snails, crabs, rice in pineapple, fried vegetables and fruit desserts. Then we went to take beautiful pictures in the most beautiful places of the Olango Island. We returned to the boat to go out to the driving coral again. Then we about the boat landing ended a trip and exciting experiences with great friends.
4. How is your life in Cebu?
After 2 weeks at CG, I was going to some place like BTC Mall, Ayala Mall and Gaisano Country Mall. I living in Cebu is a new experience for me. Public transportation isn’t a bus but jeepney. It’s the main means here. In here, life here with simple man. They have good culture and sence. Most of the traffic as you walk through the road will stop all means for you. When I go out in the streets, most of the street food is fried and baked with attractive flavours. The mall here is crowded and bustling. I went to the Ayala Mall as a fashion, electronics and cafeteria chain. It consists of four floors. There are famous fashion brands such as H&M, Adidas, Nike… Not only that space inside the Ayala Mall is so wide. I think go inside might be hard to comby. The electronics store is very much and concentriated in one area where there a variety of products such as laptops, cellphones and television. Korean, Japanese, Thailand food chains. If you go to the Philippines without coming to Cebu City to experience and feel the life here. It is unfortunately!
